IRONTEK Fan Clutch Functions
The fan clutch controls how quickly the cooling fan spins against the radiator. The hotter the engine gets, the more the fan has to spin. If the fan clutch is not functioning correctly, the fan wonÂ’t spin at the right speed and therefore canÂ’t provide the cooling needed. It could spin too much and waste power coming from the engine, or spin too little and not cool the engine enough.
