Introduction This a motor replacement guide for the Ryze/DJI Tello. It require fine soldering and very careful motor installation.

Step 1 install motor connectors - pull motor wires out of the arm/mount (does not require opening the drone or removing any screws). Pull the motor outs of the motor mount, not out of the main body.
black -> black, white -> white
blue -> black, red -> blue

Step 2 install motors into mounts - fold wires to the side of the motor
wires should be parallel and straight
each wire aligns with a small grovve, or both wires together in one of the larger grooves
for neater installation, wrap wires around the arms so that the connectors are meeting between the two struts of each arm

Step 3 remove pinions and install motors remove the white pinions and discard, e.g. with small pliers or flat screw driver. Dont bend the shaft, be careful!

After installation of the motor connectors, future motor swap will be much easier.
