It is very important to perform an amperage draw test on the blower motor itslef when a resistor has failed. Failure to verify the blower motor is not pulling too many amps will cause repeated failure of the resistor/regulator and this can void the warranty. See APDTY-142086 If You Need A Blower Motor.
