Description
A limit switch is used to shut off power in both directions on your actuator. This is sometimes used as a failsafe device, since when the limit switch is depressed the actuator will not move. Some customers use one limit switch to cut power in a single direction, so an actuator can still be retracted. We include a diode with every external limit switch polarity, so you can reverse polarity when it is depressed. With these parts, you can choose from two different ways to use your limit switch.
