This wireless smart switch enhances the home automation experience with Z-Wave Plus technology, the most powerful to date. Z-Wave Plus utilizes the Next-Gen 500 series platform, and it includes improvements in signal range, energy efficiency, additional RF channels, and a simplified setup. Z-Wave Plus is backward compatible with existing Z-Wave devices.

The ZW15SM-PLUS is a single-pole and 3-way switch; an add-on switch, such as the Enerwave ZW3K-N, is required for 3-way or multi-location control (sold separately). Three interchangeable face cover colors are included for easy decor changes; white comes preassembled, black, and light almond.

A neutral wire is required for this switch to work properly.

The following Z-Wave hubs are compatible with the ZW15RM-PLUS: Homeseer, Vera, SmartThings, Zipato, Fibaro, Universal Devices ISY-944i, Alarm.com Panel. The Wink hub does not support the Smart Meter feature.
