Ironwood Pacific EasyTroller Trolling Plate - Standard (for Motors 50 HP - 300 HP)

Slow your boat to the ideal trolling speed with the Ironwood Pacific EasyTroller trolling plate. Rugged aluminum components and hinged plate design help prevent damage to the plate in case of accidental acceleration. Models available for motors from 30 HP to 300 HP, with or without fins.. The patented spring hinged design is what makes this trolling plate different from the rest as it allows the trolling plate to flex upward in the event of accidental acceleration, reminding the boater to slow and raise the plate. Regular trolling plates can break or bend if they are not raised before acceleration.

The EasyTroller should always be in the up position when your boat is running at speed, then when you’re ready to troll, simply put your motor in neutral and allow the boat to come to a full and complete stop. Pull the release cord to move the plate into the down trolling position; when properly seated the plate will lock into place to slow the boat’s trolling speed.

We have 2 EasyTroller models available depending on your needs. The short model is ideal for outboards 30-45HP and the standard model for I/Os and outboards 50-300HP.Ironwood Pacific's EasyTroller is manufactured in the United States and is constructed using marine-grade anodized aluminum and stainless steel. All mounting hardware and instructions needed to install the plate directly to your engine’s cavitation plate are included.

The EasyTroller Trolling Plate comes equipped with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty. Optional hydrofoil fins are available to help boats get onto a plane and improve boat handling.
